Job Description
All-State Belting is a leading provider of superior quality conveyor belting, accessories and services throughout North America. We are seeking the right individual to join our customer service team in Columbus, OH. As a CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE, you would be expected to be a key player as a key connection between our customers and our company by assisting with general inquiries regarding but not limited to: pricing, products, availability of inventory, delivery times, order confirmations and more.
Responsibilities include:
- Connecting with customers by phone or in person to provide information about products and services, take or enter orders or to obtain details of complaints.
- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
- Prepare pricing and quotes as required.
- Work with other internal departments; production, purchasing, quality, order entry, credit, and outside sales to meet the customer's requirements.
- Enter sales orders into the system using information from the customer's purchase order.
- Recommend improvements in products, packaging, shipping, service, or billing methods and procedures to prevent future problems.
- Coordinate with Outside Sales and Operations in preparing quotes and sales orders for customers.
- Perform various customer specific procedures that may include obtaining and reviewing additional instructions for invoicing, ordering, online accounts, and several other functions in order to comply with requirements. Would also be responsible for creating, implementing, and updating procedures and instructions for internal use.
- Coordinate with Purchasing and Vendors as needed for pricing and lead times on buy out items.
- Perform all customer service branch activities as needed and perform other related duties as assigned.
- Track items through the order fulfillment process as needed.
- Help with billing and ASN's
- Resolve any invoice issues with accounting.
EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED
- Excellent communication skills and good computer literacy in relation to Outlook, Excel and Word.
DESIRED
- Customer Service experience in construction, manufacturing, distribution or related industry experience is desirable but not required.

Pay: From $17-$20.00 per hour
