Our client is seeking a Construction Superintendent (internally titled Commercial Roofing Superintendent) to oversee and manage roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial roofing, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role requires effective coordination with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all aspects of commercial roofing projects from start to finish.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and clients.
Schedule and manage subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project timelines and quality standards.
Conduct site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, material usage, and labor hours.
Communicate effectively with clients, addressing any concerns or questions promptly.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in commercial roofing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Extensive knowledge of various commercial roofing systems and installation techniques.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the roofing industry.
Must be open to travel weeks at a time for projects
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
