Applications Specialist – HVAC Rooftop & VRF – Base Salary to 120k/year – Phoenix, AZ
Our client, a well-established HVAC Manufacturers Representative & industry leader for the southwest is currently seeking an Applications Specialist for their Phoenix, AZ location. Our client is seeking candidates with 2+ years’ of applications experience with selecting and quoting specifically AAON or Daikin, and VRF Systems to be immediately effective in this role.
The ideal candidate for this role will have interest in an onsite Inside Sales/ Applications support role with some flexibility & travel 2-3x per yea.
Responsibilities:
Provide selling support through technical assistance
Perform take-offs and coordinate jobs for bid
Read, understand and interpret building plans & specifications
Provide technical assistance / information for product specifications re: commercial third-party products
Develop and grow relationships with customers, contractors, project engineers and manufacturers
Determine project requirements & constraints to meet customer system design, installation and maintenance expectations
Utilize system databases to provide project pricing and estimates
Investigate concerns, implement corrective action and communicate with customers and co-workers as necessary to maximize customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
2+ years’ experience selecting and quoting AAON or Daikin, and VRF Systems
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Working knowledge of MEP consulting, design, general contracting, mechanical contracting, engineering or construction industry a plus
Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office 365 applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to learn and utilize various manufacturer’s selection/pricing programs
