    • Our client, a well-known 150 year old food company, is looking for a Logistics Inventory Manager to add to the team. They are a world-class importer of premium products within the Food & Beverage industry and they are looking to add a Logistics Inventory Manager (internally titled Manager of Inventory and Logistics) to the team!
    • The Logistics Inventory Manager will report to the Senior Director of Logistics and Inventory Planning and will be responsible for the daily inbound operations, inventory control and functional analysis. The Logistics Inventory Manager will be responsible for the inventory across the multiple warehouse locations along with third party drayage/port operations. The Logistics Inventory Manager will work closely with the Senior Director ensuring integrity of real time inventory data. Points of contact will be the host ERP (SAP), certain Vendor Portals, and various Public and Private Data bases.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the inbound logistics, inventory control, and inventory analysis.
    • Responsible for the proper documentation of inventory and status, and the identification, research, and correction of errors within the system as well as identification of discrepancies within vendor hosted systems.
    • Oversees the successful execution and proper systems updates of all inventory transactions both internally and traded with 3rd party vendors.
    • Assigns and directs the workflow of inventory to ensure that excellent service is delivered to each customer through appropriate planning and scheduling.
    • Develop business insights based on inventory analysis and communicate key findings to members of management.
    • Perform analysis on the inventory network, including the calculation of efficiency measurements, and COGS calculations. Make recommendations for inventory corrections based on evolving business trends.
    • Works with Senior Director to develop COGS costing figures to be used in modeled price quotes to customers or other financially focused analysis, impacting final margin.
    • Develops product purchase plan and controls days on hand inventory.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years in an Inventory Control role within Supply Chain utilizing a deeply integrated SAP platform across multiple business units (internal & external).
    • Import CPG experience.

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 90k – 95k/year range, flexible dependent on experience

    • Hybrid work schedule: Remote Mondays and Fridays
