Account Executive – Capital Equipment – Total Compensation to 125k/year– Cleveland, OH
- Our client, a Capital Equipment Reseller is seeking multiple Account Executives (internally titled Sales Executive) to maintain a base of customer accounts for sourcing & selling equipment.
- In this role, the Account Executive will develop and expand the sales territory by qualifying incoming leads, as well as conducting daily outbound activities to cultivate new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on bringing in new leads, potential clients & building business relationships
- Conduct outbound calls, send emails & messages to develop new connections & develop quality sales leads
- Identify target buyers & sellers of appropriate capital equipment through market research
- Travel to clients as needed to obtain equipment information & specs
- Provide equipment quotes to buyers & sellers
- Develop, manage & build sales pipeline
Qualifications:
- 2 or 4-year degree preferred
- Minimum of 3+ years of successful Outside Sales experience- Preferably in Plastics or Capital Equipment
- Ability to organize, plan & execute sales activities independently
- Accustomed to longer sales cycles & complex sales transactions
- Ability to travel 10% - 20% of the time. This includes both national and local travel, with most client communication being done over the phone. Travel will be as needed.
Compensation Total compensation up to 125k/year, which includes a base salary up to 50k/year (flexible dependent on experience) and an uncapped commission structure (typically up to 75k in the first year). Company also offers 401k with contribution, bonus pay & fully paid medical benefits.
