Earthwork Estimator – Land Development Company – Base Salary to 200k/year – West Palm Beach, FL
Our client is a family owned and operated business that self-performs clearing & grubbing, excavation, underground utilities, and roadwork for commercial and residential land development. They are seeking an Earthwork Estimator for their team in West Palm Beach.
The Earthwork Estimator will estimate residential and light commercial land development work using Agtek.
Responsibilities:
Estimate earthwork for residential and light commercial land development work
Review and understand FDOT/municipal civil plans
Perform detailed take-offs
Knowledge of FDOT/municipal standards, specs, and details
Build crews within estimating software
Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain pricing
Review CAD files
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in estimating civil work
5+ years of experience in estimating earthwork for land development
Organized and good work ethic, team player, open to ideas and good communication skills.
