Mold Maker – Plastic Injection Molding – Base Salary to 40.00/hour – San Marcos, TX

• Our client is a family-owned plastic manufacturing company with a global presence. With a large focus in the electrical and medical fields, our client offers full-service abilities from tool building, design and rebuild, to custom manufacturing.
• Our plastics client is looking to a Mold Maker to the team. The Mold Maker will be in charge of designing, building, and repairing injection molds and fixtures for both internal and external customers.
• This role will work closely with the Plant Manager and the other Mold Maker in the tool room.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with both preventative and routine maintenance of tooling and molds
• Design and build secondary fixtures
• Utilization of tool shop equipment
• Interpreting blueprints and designing new molds from start to finish for customers

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma; Plus for technical degree or certification within the industry
• 1+ years hands on experience designing and creating injection molds
• Plus for CNC programming experience
• Plus for mold flow analysis
• Ability to read/analyze blue prints
• Experience operating tool shop equipment: grinders, mills, lathes, etc.
• Solidworks, Masercam, G-Code familiarity

Compensation

• Our client is offering a base salary up to 40.00/hour, along with a standard benefits package including 401k with employer match.
