Civil Project Manager – Civil Construction – Base Salary to 115k/year – Indianapolis, IN
Our client is currently seeking a Civil Project Manager (internally titled Road Department Project Manager) to join their team in Merrillville, Indiana. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with Indiana Road teams, overseeing the development and delivery of state and locally funded projects throughout Indiana. The Civil Project Manager will play a pivotal role in managing projects and fostering client relationships, with the potential to establish and lead a local Road Team.
Responsibilities:
Provide design directives and oversee project tasks for Federal Aid, INDOT, and/or local projects from inception to post-project services.
Assist in crafting project scope, schedules, and budgets for new endeavors.
Mentor and guide junior engineers and CAD designers.
Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants for project execution.
Contribute to the development of Letters of Interest (LOI) for state and local projects.
Conduct thorough review and approval of design calculations and project plans.
Manage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining schedules and priorities.
Engage with both existing and prospective clients to understand project requirements and offer recommendations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
6+ years of relevant experience.
2+ of experience in Project Management.
Indiana PE license or eligibility to obtain one within six months.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
Thorough understanding of the INDOT-Federal aid design process.
