Sales Assistant – HVAC Sales & Service – Base Salary to 60k/year – Middletown, NJ

• Our client, an established HVAC Manufacturers Representative and manufacturing venture, services the NJ/NYC market for innovative and custom HVAC solutions for some of the most prestigious skyscrapers in New York City.
• They are currently seeking an experienced Sales Assistant who possesses a technical and mechanical aptitude, to support their Sales team at their Middletown, NJ office. This role offers a hybrid schedule after training (1 year); hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the sales team with preparing quotes, proposals, and contracts for HVAC products and services
• Coordinate sales orders, deliveries, and installations with internal departments and external vendors
• Respond to customer inquiries, provide product information, and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote HVAC products through various channels
• Support sales representatives in meeting sales targets and achieving customer satisfaction goals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus)
• 3+ years’ experience in sales support or inside sales / customer service for a mechanical/ technical industry like HVAC /Construction or similar field
• Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and products is a plus!
