Personal Lines Producer - Independent Insurance Agency - Base Salary to 50k/year - Queens, NY

• Our client, a close-knit and well-established independent insurance agency in the Queens, NY area, has an immediate need for a skilled Personal Lines Producer. Since their inception 50+ years ago, they have developed an excellent reputation for providing a client-focused solutions and customer service for commercial, personal, and life insurance needs.

Responsibilities:

• The Personal Lines Producer will be a key player to the team. You will be responsible for providing customer service to personal and commercial lines clients, answering inbound phone calls and walk ins, taking payments, work with clients on retention tools to help lower their cost of insurance, remarket accounts & cross sell, provide coverage information and explanation to clients, order & issue binders, certs, endorsements, claims follow ups, and grow the agencies book of business.

Qualifications:

• P&C (Property and Casualty) License required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Knowledge of EPIC preferred. Can train!
• Candidates from a captive agency encouraged to apply!
• Must be willing to come in-office 9am - 5pm, Monday – Friday.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 40k - 50k/year range depending on experience plus commission on new and renewal business. On new business you will earn 40% and 10% at renewal. As you ramp up, your base will decrease & the renewal commission will increase.
