    National Business Development Manager - Exterior Cladding - Base Salary to 160k/year - Fort Worth, TX

    • Founded over 100 years ago, our International client in the Building Performance space manufacturers steel products for the construction industry.
    • They are currently looking to hire a National Business Development Manager who will focus on market development and strategic sales to Architects, Developers, and clients throughout North America and Canada while engaging with other important influencers in the construction supply chain such as cladding system manufacturers, main contractors and installers. This position will focus on specification selling for their exterior cladding products. Candidates for this position must reside in either the Denver area, Midwest, or Eastern US regions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify, develop and maintain long-term supply chain partners promoting the branded steel products looking after all elements of supply to them
    • Present exterior cladding products via specification selling into the AEC community and Developers throughout North America and Canada
    • Travel 50-60% domestically (with some international travel)
    • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure sales targets are met
    • Travel to conferences, tradeshows, and networking events
    • Provide technical product support for customers and identify new construction project opportunities in the US and Canada

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience working with supply chain partners via specification selling in the building envelope space (steel preferred)
    • Experience working on large building envelope projects from a variety of sectors covering logistics & Warehousing, industrial and commercial
    • Years of experience building strategic relationships within the AEC community
    • Reside in close proximity to an international airport
    • Openness to overnight travel 50-60% (domestic and international)
    • Understanding of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 140k – 160k/year range plus bonus
