Civil Project Manager – Civil Engineering Firm – Base Salary to 130k/year - Deptford, NJ
- Our client is a stable full-service civil engineering, architecture, and planning firm providing engineering design services to commercial, healthcare, retail, and hospitality clients in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
- Our client is in search of a Civil Project Manager (Civil/Site) for its office near Philadelphia (South Jersey Side).
- This role regionally remote – must work 2-3 days/week in-office (South Jersey Side) and may work 2-3 days/week remote from home .
Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Project Management of Civil Site Planning Design Projects in the commercial, Healthcare, Retail, Hospitality, Sports and Recreation, and Residential industries.
- Preliminary site investigation including the review of ordinances, utility availability, applicable zoning as well as outside agency standards and requirements.
- Preparation of Concept Drawings for commercial site development projects as well as major subdivision residential project, including working with CAD draftsmen.
- Knowledge of stormwater management design regulations should include County, SCD and governing municipality in NJ/PA.
- Design of Stormwater Management & Stormwater Conveyance Systems including coordinating with CAD Draftsman on Designing through AutoCAD Civil 3D and Hydrology design software (HydroCAD).
- Preparation of Site Plans and Subdivision plans including grading, utility, storm water facility, Best Management Practices and soil erosion control design.
- Preparation of Construction Cost Estimates based upon approved site/subdivision drawings as required for bonding and client purposes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- 8+ years of residential and/or commercial site design.
- Project Management / Project Engineering Experience
- (Preferred) Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- (Preferred) Proficiency with Hydrology CAD software (i.e. HydroCAD, OpenFlows, StormCAD, Civilstorm, CulverMaster, Hydrology Studio, Carlson Hydrology, or similar)
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively coordinate with clients and existing office staff to manage workload and projects
Compensation:
- Base salary to 130k/year depending on experience
