Sales Manager – 130 Year Old HVAC Distributor – Base Salary to 150k/year – Tampa, FL

• Our client, a stable, growing commercial HVAC distributor, is looking to re-establish its presence in the FL market. Our client has been in business for over 130 years and has a stellar reputation in the industry up and down the East Coast. They are looking to open a branch in Fort Myers and then expand into Orlando, Jacksonville, and South Florida; and looking to add a Sales Manager (internally titled HVAC Sales Leader).

Responsibilities:

• In this role, the Sales Manager will start as a player/coach as you are building out the markets and hiring your team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for business development, working with large clients, hiring, mentoring, and growing the market.
• The Sales Manager will work with commercial contractors in this role. The ideal candidate will have relationships that they can bring with them to help jump-start the market. The ideal candidate will be based close to the Ft Myers branch, but could also live in any of the other expansion markets. There will be about 60% travel expectations.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position will possess a background in HVAC and a strong track record in distribution sales. Candidates should have a track record of leadership and/or management. The candidate should be independent, self-motivated, and driven to take complete ownership over their role. They should possess strong CRM experience and exceptional customer service skills.

Compensation: Our client is offering a base salary up to 150k/year, depending on experience, and an annual bonus up to 60% of salary.
