Maintenance Manager – Manufacturing and Facilities – Base Salary to 120k/year – Medina, OH
Our client, a well-established small-midsized specialty manufacturer is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager for their Medina, OH location.
This hands-on management role will be in charge of the team (8 Direct Reports – 2 Engineers and 6 Maintenance staff) that keeps their manufacturing equipment / machines running, as well as facilities upkeep. The Maintenance Manager will be a consultive collaborative leader and mentor well versed in process/ Continuous Improvement to help our client automate and evolve.
Responsibilities:
Directly supervise, train, plan, and schedule the maintenance workforce; tracking performance and completion of tasks; Provide safety training and development
Maintain employee timecards, work order reports, etc.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems with equipment and processes and maintain a parts inventory to reduce production downtime
Work collaboratively with the Production, Engineering and Quality teams to identify and implement process and equipment improvements
Oversee the maintenance of the fire and security systems
Oversee maintenance of the facility and grounds including roofs, parking lots, sidewalks, driveways, and landscaping/lawn care
Create/ organize an “on-call” list to have 24/7 reliability coverage
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical or industrial) preferred; open to proven manufacturing Process/ Continuous Improvement experience
3+ years in a technical maintenance role within manufacturing; including 2+ years as a supervisor
Ability to utilize iPad maintenance & MS Office software
Ability to get into, under, over, and around equipment to debug or troubleshoot
Compensation:
Base salary in the 100k – 120k/year range, dependent on experience
