Diesel Engine Generator Technician – Industrial Generator Company – Base Salary to 45.00/hour – Philadelphia, PA

• Our client, specializes in buying, selling, and renting new & used generators for commercial and industrial applications. They are looking to add a Diesel Engine Generator Technician at their Philadelphia, PA location.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine generator service and maintenance
• Perform load bank tests on diesel, natural gas, and propane generators
• Ability to troubleshoot generator related electrical and mechanical problems
• Adjust and/or change voltage on generators based on project requirements
• Handle installation of control panels & voltage regulators, including rewiring and adjustments
• Handle incoming/outgoing shipments, including generator preparation
• Willing to teach, mentor, and train new hires to ease the on-boarding process
• Handle work orders and log work hours for system processing

Qualifications:

• Experience in diesel & natural gas generators with in-depth industry knowledge, experience in the electrical industry is a plus
• Ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of experience working on industrial/commercial generators and generator related accessories
• Skilled in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on diesel, natural gas, and propane generator sets

Compensation: Base salary in the 35.00 – 45.00/hour range. They offer a complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, along with 100% company-paid Basic Life Insurance, 401k, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability.
