Human Resources Manager – Construction/Manufacturing Company - Base Salary to 120k/year – Valley Cottage, NY

• Our client, is a construction/manufacturing entity that operates throughout the US in working with commercial buildings in becoming ADA compliant through ramp building. The organization is bringing on a new position as a Human Resources Manager that will help as the company continues to grow with staff and processes. This individual will have a wide array of HR related responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on recruiting. Other responsibilities such as one on one employee “check-ins”, 360 reviews, and updating the employee handbook. This is an on site role in Valley Cottage, NY.
• The position will have a base salary between $100-120k based on experience along with benefits and other perks. This person will work on site at the office in Valley Cottage, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Recruitment, candidate selection, and the onboarding process
• Managing a company’s candidate evaluation process
• Ensuring that a company’s procedures comply with employment regulations
• Monitoring various aspects of an employee’s performance, such as attendance and sick leave
• Accessing the need for training and then designing and implementing training programs accordingly
• Handling any disciplinary processes and formal grievances
• Setting and reviewing pay structures and employee perks and benefits
• Annual health insurance renewals and competitive leveling
• Manage an HR Administrator in the future
• Manage Staffing Agency/Recruiter relationships
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources
• SHRM certified preferred
• Ability to recruit and work with recruiting platforms.
• Strong communication skills and ability to listen.
• Minimum of high school diploma but an advanced degree either Associates or Bachelors is preferred
