Service Manager – Industrial Refrigeration Services – Base Salary to 80k/year – New Haven, CT

• Our client is a leading, family-owned industrial refrigeration servicing company. Serving mainly the food processing and cold storage sub-industries, our client has customers across CT, NJ, NY.
• The team is seeking a Service Manager. The Service Manager will oversee 8 technicians and be responsible for dispatching the tech’s, ordering parts, and coordinating service and installations for clients. This role will be 90% in office and 10% in field working with sales team/technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Dispatching field technicians
• Coordinating and expediting shipping/receiving of parts
• Processing warranty agreements and related paperwork
• Monitoring tracking sheets for clients
• Assisting with estimates and quotes for parts and labor

Qualifications:

• BS in Business Management or related field is preferred
• 3+ years experience in the Industrial Refrigeration and/or HVAC industry
• 1+ years experience of supervisory experience managing field technicians
• Must have technical background within the industry with understanding or parts and terminology
• Dispatching experience
• Ability to estimate and quote parts and labor
• Previous field experience is a plus

Compensation:

• Our client is offering a base salary up to 80k/year along with a standard benefits package that includes PTO, insurance, and 401k with employer match.
