Our client, a landscape architecture firm specializing in park and recreation design and planning, has a current opportunity for a Landscape Architect. The individual hired for this critical role will be an integral member of a Landscape Architect team that creates, develops and executes designs for outdoor spaces.
The ideal candidate will be diverse in their design experience, have experience interfacing with clients, a professional demeanor and be proficient with AutoCAD, ArcView GIS, Adobe Suites, and MS Office
The successful candidate will work collaboratively throughout all phases of multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
Preparing landscape documents that specify layout, construction details and specifications needed for the bidding and installation of the proposed plan
Strong site design and graphic rendering
Managing projects to meet requirements, scope, schedule and budget
Knowledge of construction processes and developing unique construction details
Selecting and specifying appropriate materials and associated details
Graphic communications: renderings, plans, maps and diagrams presentations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture
Licensed Professional Landscape Architect preferred
5+ years of landscape design experience
Strong communications skills with a work ethic focused on client service and a “Team player” attitude
Design principles, techniques, construction methodology, trends and material application for a variety of projects
Proficient with AutoCAD, ArcView GIS, Adobe Suites, and MS Office
Compensation:
Base salary in the 80k - 110k/year, dependent on experience
