    Our client, a well-known 150 year old food company, is looking for a Logistics/Analysis Manager to add to the team. They are a world-class importer of premium products within the Food & Beverage industry. Headquartered in Bergen County, NJ.     This position will be responsible for the daily inbound/outbound operations, inventory control and functional analysis. The MLA will work across the Supply Chain supporting both Logistics, Customer Service & Inventory Planning. The MLA will work closely with Finance ensuring integrity of real time expense data. Points of contact will be the host ERP (SAP), certain Vendor Portals, certain customer portals, and various Public and Private Data bases.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the inbound/outbound logistics, inventory control and daily operations.
    • Responsible for the proper documentation of inventory and status, and the identification, research, and correction of errors within the system as well as identification of discrepancies within vendor hosted systems.
    • Supervises Area Logistics Coordinators: help define team objectives; evaluates, coaches and refines ALC’s operational performance
    • Oversees the successful execution and proper systems updates of all inventory transactions both internally and traded with 3rd party vendors.
    • Assigns and directs the workflow of inventory to ensure that excellent service is delivered to each customer through appropriate planning and scheduling.
    • Develop business insights based on analysis of results and communicate key findings to various members of management.
    • Perform analysis on the physical distribution network, including the calculation of efficiency measurements, costing details, and service capabilities. Make recommendations for corrections based on evolving business trends.
    • Develop logistics costing figures to be used in modeled price quotes to customers or other financially focused analysis, impacting final margin.

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of 5+ years in a Data or Business Analyst role within Supply Chain utilizing a deeply integrated SAP platform across multiple business units (internal & external).

    Compensation: Base salary to $90k/year (flexible depending on experience).Health benefits, PTO, 401k,etc.
