Traveling Superintendent – General Construction Company – Base Salary to 130k/year – Raleigh, NC
Our client is a General Construction Company specializing in multi-family, institutional and commercial work. They are licensed and focus their work in the Southeast. Their services include site work, new ground-up, additions and remodels. They are building their business and seeking professionals to help them gain success for the future.
They are currently seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join their team. The Traveling Superintendents are the On-Site Leaders, supervising the construction process to ensure projects are built safely, to the design and on-time.
Responsibilities:
Day-to-day production of all construction operations on-site
Daily reports – helping grow the team
Managing schedule progress by updating project schedules and providing 3-week look ahead’s.
Holding and leading subcontractor meetings.
Managing RFIs
Managing Safety
Managing Quality Control
Qualifications:
8+ years’ experience leading the field building Commercial Construction projects.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering a plus, but not required.
Ground-up, takeovers, additions and remodel experience.
Ability to read and understand construction documents including project plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
Clear understanding of the documentation and processes between the owner, architect, and contractor.
Clear understanding of commercial construction means and methods.
Compensation:
Base salary up to 130k/year depending on experience.
