They are a licensed and bonded freight brokerage specializing in connecting shippers with carriers all throughout the US, Mexico and Canada. They are in search of a Carrier Sales Coordinator/Inside Sales Representative for their corporate office in the Northern NJ (New York Metro area). It’s a hybrid Monday through Friday position working 4 days in the office and 1 day remote. Job Description:
A Carrier Sales Coordinator’s main objective is to work to secure the right carrier for the right job, every time for the Team. You will develop and grow the relationships with both new and existing carriers. This will involve negotiating with carriers to drive down costs, provide rates to the sales team, utilize the internal databases and research ways to find new carriers, etc. You will become the expert and will provide market guidance to other departments. You will work closely with the sales, operations & billing teams to help maintain proper flow from start to finish.
