• Our client, a leading distributor of fluid power, motion control, pneumatic, and hydraulic products, has an immediate need for a skilled Government Account Manager to be based out of the Dayton area.

• Our client is an industry leader with a stellar reputation. They have been in business for 70 years and provide top-of-the-line products, systems, and solutions for the industrial market.

• In this role, the Technical Sales Account Manager will be responsible for monitoring the DOD bid board daily to understand contract requirements and negotiate special pricing with authorized vendors. You will also confirm packaging sources and certifications for products, invoice clients, and ensure that any bids are submitted prior to deadlines.

Compensation will include a base salary in the $60k - $75k/year range, dependent upon experience. The company also offers full benefits, 401k with company match, generous paid time off, and more.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or Technology. Experience in the fluid power industry is required, along with government DOD experience. The ability to understand military drawings and revisions is strongly preferred.
