Construction Site Supervisor – Banking Industry Construction – Base Salary to 90k/year – Omaha, NE
Our client is a commercial GC that specializes in construction on financial business nationwide, with a focus on the Midwest. Projects range from remodeling to full ground up, largely for the banking and retail industries. They have been in the business since 1972, and pride themselves on hands-on management and a collaborative, problem solving culture.
In this role, the Construction Site Supervisor will be overseeing subcontractors and internal crews on a ground up 4300 sq ft bank branch project. This candidate should have commercial construction leadership experience, as well as strong communication and problem solving skills. Our client needs experienced ground up Foreman/Lead Carpenters who can work the whole 8+ month project, with the potential for additional work depending on the pipeline.
Responsibilities:
Track workflow and ensure subcontractor crews are set up
Ensure delivery of materials, equipment, and resources
Manage primarily subcontractors as well as some self-performing work
Understand labor force required by trades to meet schedules
Coordinate with Project Managers and Team Leads throughout the project lifecycle
Work with and maintain open communication lines with clients
Understand the importance of working in an operating space and the challenges that come with making sure all parties are accommodated.
Work shifts vary depending on individual project needs. Shifts can include nights, weekends and holidays.
Log relevant activity in company database
Ensure on site safety protocols are adhered to
Work onsite in Omaha Nebraska for the remainder of 2024
Qualifications:
3+ years experience in commercial carpentry
Ability to work onsite in Omaha through 2024
Ability to coordinate with PMs and Crew Leads
Ability to manage subcontractors
Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret plans and specifications
Ground up commercial construction experience needed
Construction leadership experience needed
Basic computer/tablet proficiency
Compensation:
Base salary in the 70k – 90k/year range, dependent on experience
