Our client, a well-established Building Material Manufacturer, is currently seeking an HSE (Health, Safety, Environmental) Manager for their northern California manufacturing plant. In this role, the HSE Manager will be responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating all health, safety and environmental programs for the facility including training, audits, regulatory compliance, incident reporting, investigations & corrective actions, documentation/ recordkeeping /performance metrics, worker’s compensation case management, compliant waste disposal, environmental reporting, & material safety data recording.

For this position, our client is looking for a bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred, (or equivalent experience), as well as 3+ years of experience working with environmental regulatory issues (for California preferred), and 5+ years of health & safety experience in an industrial manufacturing facility

• traveling approximately 10% of the time

• MS Office; proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Compensation for this role is in the $90K/year range depending on candidate experience and fit to role, plus a 10% bonus program.
