Technical Sales Manager - Cable Compounder - Base Salary to 200k/year – Houston, TX
- Our client, a lead manufacture of XLPE, is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to lead all business development initiatives including introducing new products & increasing profitability throughout the United States & Mexico.
- In this role, the Technical Sales Manager will identify key market segments & opportunities to introduce XLPE product line & grow the North American portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Develop & Implement Sales Framework for North American Sales
- Introduce a Foreign Manufacturer into the Cable Sheathing Market & Achieve Business Goals
- Build Sales Pipeline & Uncover New Business Opportunities
- Schedule Meetings with Potential Clients
- Drive Sales Activities Throughout North America
- Coordinate Manufacturing & Shipping Logistics Between Overseas Factories & Stateside Customers
- Support Customer Launches- Provide Technical Guidance
- Strong Account Management Experience & Ability to Troubleshoot Issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Preferred
- 8+ years of Sales Experience in Cable Sheathing
- Proven Experience Leading Sales Organization
- XLPE Knowledge
- Strong Technical Sales Skills & Knowledge of XLPE Processing
- Ability to Understand & Analyze Sales Performance Metrics
- Bilingual- Spanish/English
- Ability to travel frequently
Compensation for this role includes a base salary up to 200k/year, plus an annual bonus. Medical benefits will also be offered.
