HVAC Account Manager – 160-Year-Old Manufacturer – Base Salary to 145k/year – Hartford, CT

• Our client, a stable, growing manufacturer, has an immediate need for an HVAC Account Manager, to handle a territory covering New England (majority CT/MA/RI). Our client has been in business for over 160 years and has a stellar reputation in the industry. The New England team operates as a tight-knit group, always willing to help each other out, and are looking for someone who operates from a “customer first” mentality in order to fit into this culture.

• In this position, the HVAC Account Manager will be responsible for building strong relationships with core customers and seeing core customer growth, introducing new products into the existing customer base, and of course, bringing on new customers. The HVAC Account Manager will work closely with and answer directly to the company’s Sales Manager in developing and implementing new growth strategies. They will sell to rep firms, wholesalers, and work with contractors. The ideal candidate will have plumbing and HVAC knowledge.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be technically strong with a background in HVAC and some experience with boilers. The candidate should be independent, self-motivated, and driven to take complete ownership over their role. They should possess strong CRM experience and exceptional customer service skills.

Compensation: Our client is offering a base salary in the 120k – 145k/year range, with a healthy bonus program. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, 401k, PTO and much more.
