Lead Insurance Analyst - Electricity and Gas Supplier - Base Salary to 140k/year - Brooklyn, NY

• Our client, a well known energy company delivering energy to homes, communities, and businesses throughout NY and MA is looking for a Lead Insurance Analyst to provide expert insurance, claims and risk management advice and support by partnering the NY and NE business in the US.
• The Lead Insurance Analyst will be responsible for leading in the assessment, review and recommendation of insurance requirements for designated business and investment projects.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the assessment, review and recommendation of insurance requirements for designated business and investment projects.
• Implement strategies to ensure appropriate protection of their assets, insurable liabilities, and new business developments.
• Advising businesses on issues related to risk and insurance within commercial contracts, reviewing contracts, collecting data, working with brokers to get business renewed and placed, etc.

Qualifications:

• 5+ Years of experience in an insurance, risk management, or broker role, energy/utility/construction preferred.
• Experience in leading and placing insurance programs in the US and negotiating insurance terms and conditions including policy wording reviews.
• Experience working in/creating excel spreadsheets.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 120k – 140k/year range

• Hybrid schedule. 1 day a week in office, 4 days remote.
