    • Our client, who has been servicing all branches of the U.S. Military for over 40 years, is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their team. Renowned for their adherence to reliability and environmental standards across industries, particularly in aerospace, this employee-owned company stands out for its commitment to excellence.
    • The Sales Engineer is responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies, supporting product development and marketing initiatives, and aligning customer needs with company capabilities to drive business growth and promote the brand. The Sales Engineer will engage in new business development, utilize communication tools, and deliver consistent messaging to foster customer relationships and expand the customer base.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the assigned territory, leveraging knowledge of the company's strengths, customer base, competitors, and market dynamics.
    • Collaborate in the formulation of product development roadmaps and marketing strategies, providing support throughout their execution.
    • Assist in the creation of sales literature and presentations, to effectively showcase the company's offerings and value proposition.
    • Evaluate customer needs and align them with the company's capabilities to develop mutually beneficial solutions.
    • Generate proposals for new opportunities, emphasizing the value of the product and the company.
    • Acquire in-depth familiarity with the company's products and capabilities to facilitate cross-selling and solution-based engagements with customers.
    • Drive new business development initiatives, identifying opportunities for growth within existing and new accounts.
    • Ensure timely and effective communication of activities, adhering to schedules established by management.
    • Utilize customer management tools, including CRM and ERP systems, to streamline sales processes and enhance customer interactions.
    • Deliver consistent messaging aligned with company branding program during customer engagements, utilizing materials as necessary.
    • Actively engage with customers to cultivate relationships, promote products, and expand the company's reach within target accounts, ultimately contributing to business growth.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, especially in a technical field like BSEE, or equivalent education/experience.
    • 5+ years' experience in selling to military defense subcontractors and high-end industrial accounts preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to sell technical capabilities and hardware solutions effectively
    • Proven ability to arrange successful customer meetings with both new and existing clients.
    • Working knowledge of electronic/electro-mechanical component design and manufacturing, as well as power supplies and their system applications.
    • Familiarity with ISO9001 or AS9100 environments is preferred.
    • Must have comprehensive computer skills, including proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office applications.

    Compensation:
