    • Our client is a well-established developer, manufacturer & marketer of sustainable “green” solutions for manufacturing and is currently seeking a scientifically knowledgeable Technical Sales Specialist for a fully remote role (75% travel) based out of Houston, TX. Our client has been in business for over 50 years and is dedicated to offering environmentally beneficial, clean technologies for industrial & commercial operations; investing in an improved global environment.
    • In this role, the Technical Sales Specialist will service, develop, maintain, and grow new and existing distributors/customers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with existing independent/manufacturing rep firm on occasion
    • Forecast, solicit, and secure orders from new and existing distributors/customers
    • Lead manufacturing process analysis, fluid testing, help develop corrosion solutions and provide corrosion training for distributors / customers
    • Establish client/ vendor rapport in person and virtually, providing customer service in various departments: purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management, and other key personnel; document all contacts
    • Support technical marketing of products and services
    • Attend various trade shows and conferences
    • Provide monthly report updates on territory sales

    Qualifications:

    • BS Degree – preferably in science, chemistry a plus!
    • 1+ years of technical/industrial sales experience; comfortable visiting various manufacturing / industrial environments
      • industrial wash/ cleaner experience &, or working with distributors - a plus!
    • Communicate effectively with various levels of personnel (verbal & written)
    • Strong interpersonal and persuasive communication skills
    • Ability to work remotely (home office) and travel (75%) mostly local/regional
    • Self-motivated/ Self-starter / Sense of urgency
    • Personable, extroverted personality as well as being a good listener
    • Strong organizational skills

    Compensation for this role includes a base salary in the 70k – 80k/year range depending on candidate experience + bonus program 10% to start & vehicle allowance. Hours Mon-Friday, 40-50 hours/ week, fully remote, with office equipment / supplies provided. Full benefits: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, PTO, 401k, and a stock purchase plan!
