Regional Sales Manager - Power Tools - Base Salary to 85k/year - Birmingham, AL

• Founded over 80 years ago, our client is a manufacturer in the Power Tools space. The company sells through Distribution as well as directly to end-users. This family-owned company is looking to increase their revenue in the Americas by 50% over the next 5-10 years!
• They are currently looking to hire a Regional Sales Manager to join their team. This position will focus on selling into distributors as well as into OEMs encompassing a territory of Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect, cold-call, promote and sell Power Tools to OEMs and Distributors
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure sales targets are met
• Travel to conferences, tradeshows, and networking events
• Travel throughout the Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee territory to visit potential customers, conduct demos and close business (50-60% overnight travel)
• Provide outstanding customer service and resolve any customer issues

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of selling industrial products into end-users and distributors
• Experience in the manufacturing sector, preferably in industrial tooling industry
• Openness to overnight travel 50-60% of the time throughout the territory
• Must reside within an hour of Birmingham, Alabama
• Must have a proven track record of increasing revenue in a territory significantly
• Experience selling safety supplies, welding supplies, and experience calling on fabricators is much preferred.
• Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 75k – 85k/year range plus commission
