    Continuous Improvement Manager – Manufacturing – Base Salary to 120k/year – Redding, CA

    • Our client, a well-established Building Material Manufacturer, is currently seeking Continuous Improvement Manager for their northern California (Redding area north) location.
    • Our client is a privately owned multinational corporation focused on innovation and sustainability where employees are part of the family, with global impact.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with plant leadership to develop, publish & track the CI plan
    • Facilitate CI Steering Committee to manage and improve the CI program
    • Lead regular improvement workshops
    • Lead & update CI training for classroom and shop floor
    • Understand, cultivate, and improve the plant CI culture using a process focus re: leader standard work, visual controls, standard accountability, team problem solving, etc. - Involve everyone
    • Facilitate advanced methodologies and tools, including root cause analysis, team problem solving, lean six sigma, A3 problem solving, and other applicable tools
    • Help the plant become more process, and data driven
    • Visually Track results and publicize results.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology or related field
    • Black or Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred
    • 5+ years leadership or engineering experience for industrial manufacturing
    • 2+ years Continuous Improvement/Lean Six Sigma experience with knowledge of CI tools, methodologies and practices; knowledge of 5S activities and audits
    • Knowledge of statistical data, mechanics
    • MS Office & ERP (SAP preferred)
    • Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 105k - 120k/year range, on candidate experience
