Our client is an industrial manufacturer specializing in CNC controls and CNC machine tools. They sell turnkey systems all throughout the United States. They have been an industry leader for the past 70 years.
They are looking for a candidate for their Regional Manager opening in the Dallas, TX market. The Regional Manager oversees a team of direct employees and part of their distribution network. Region consists of 2 Business Development Reps, 2 Sales Reps, 3 Field Service Techs, and 6 or so Distributors. The Regional Manager works out of their home and manages a multi-state region. Territory is the Western states plus TX, OK and KS. Travel as needed to manage the team.
Responsibilities:
Recruit, hire, train, coach and hold accountable every member of their team.
Monitor the needs of the customers, employees, and distributors and direct them to the appropriate resource to ensure their success.
Leading a team consisting of Sales Representatives, Applications Representatives, Business Development Representatives, Field Service Supervisors, and Service Technicians.
Holding direct employees accountable for maintaining all standards of their job.
Overseeing the success of their distributor sales and service.
Supervising orientation and training of employees.
Providing/coordinating training for distributor sales and service.
Participating in trade shows and open houses.
Directing activities of the region’s showroom(s).
Qualifications:
5+ years of Sales Management Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering
History of successful capital equipment sales
Must have experience in metalworking machine shops
Proactive management style
Ability to learn and apply new concepts.
Compensation:
Base salary in the 100k - 125k/year range, dependent on experience
