Commercial Lines Account Manager – Independent Insurance Agency – Base Salary to 80k/year - Chadds Ford, PA

• Our client, a 40+ year, family-owned independent agency headquartered in Chadds Ford, PA has an immediate need for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team. They provide comprehensive personal and business insurance solutions to the northeast. They have a tenured, loyal team who is growing rapidly.

Responsibilities:

• Service a generalist book of commercial accounts anywhere from a $500 GL policy to a $1M policy.
• Maintain relationships with carriers & clients
• Process policy changes, endorsements and renewals, proposals
• Write additional lines for current clients
• This role also has potential growth opportunities to move into a Commercial Department Manager role in a few years.

Qualifications:

• QQ experience preferred but not required.
• 2+ years commercial lines experience.
• Property & Casualty (P&C) Licensed.
• Sales mentality and ability to work in a team dynamic.
• Experience with Erie is a plus.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 45k – 80k/year range
• Commission on any new business you bring in; 50% 1st year commission.
