Planning Supervisor – Building Products Manufacturing – Base Salary to 75k/year – Kennesaw, GA

• Our client is a well-established building products manufacturer and an inspiring global leader in architectural building products with 70+ years of experience supporting a wide range of markets.
• The Planning Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team to plan and monitor operating limits and capacities across 3 manufacturing locations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of production planners and coordinators, providing guidance, support, and training, as necessary.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging open communication and a commitment to excellence.
• Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
• Manage and allocate resources effectively, including staffing needs, materials, and equipment, to meet production targets.
• Work closely with the procurement team to ensure prompt availability of raw materials and components.
• Liaise with various departments, including production, logistics, and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
• Provide regular updates to management on production progress, challenges, and opportunities.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, resource utilization, and on-time delivery.
• Develop and implement strategies to address any performance gaps and improve overall operational effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in a manufacturing/production planning role or related experience
• High school diploma/GED
• ERP Systems knowledge
• Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
• Supervises staff of planners across multiple locations

Compensation:

• Base salary to 75k/year
