• Our client, established in 1983, is the worlds largest leading manufacturer of plastics recycling solutions. They are looking to add a Logistics Coordinator to the team! This role is in office everyday in Ipswich, MA.
• This position will be responsible coordinating the shipping of machines direct from Austria to customers and spare parts orders (motor freights from North America & direct to customers from Austria.) The Logistics Coordinator will also be responsible for rate requests from freight forwarders including documentation, tracking, tracing equipment and scheduling deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate rates with freight forwarders & assign accordingly for international and domestic shipments.
• Move shipments for customer trial materials, our trade shows & events, service toolboxes, etc.
• Check & prepare documentation for US customs compliance.
• Track shipments - notify customers of shipping details.
• Coordinate & ensure customs release with customs broker and freight companies.
• Coordinate delivery between Austria plant, freight forwarders and customers.
• Prepare governmental forms-USMCA and steel licenses.

Qualifications:

• Work requires a high school level of knowledge of several subjects in order to express complex thoughts clearly in writing, motor & sea freight experience, and/or deal effectively with other people.
• Must be extremely detail oriented and multi-tasking
• 2+ years of progressively more responsible administration/office experience is required.

• Microsoft Office applications necessary. Microsoft Dynamics GP and / or SAP experience preferred.

Compensation: Base salary in the 55k – 60k/year range.Our client also offers Health benefits, PTO, 401k,etc.
