Commercial Lines Account Executive – Independent Agency – Base Salary to 90k/year – Totowa, NJ

• Our client, a growth-oriented independent insurance agency in the Totowa, NJ area, has an immediate need for a skilled Commercial Lines Account Executive (internally titled Commercial Lines Team Lead). They are a highly collaborative team looking for insurance professionals to assist in servicing a book of generalist commercial accounts and provide direction and guidance to their team of Account Executives.

Responsibilities:

• The Commercial Lines Account Executive will be an integral and key player in the growth of the team.
• You will be responsible for servicing a book of commercial lines accounts while providing support and leadership to the commercial lines team.
• You will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to clients and maintaining existing relationships.
• You will be responsible for renewals, issuing ID cards, certificates of insurance, endorsements, etc.
• Other responsibilities include acting as an advisor to your team, assisting other Account Executives, training and coaching new employees, etc.

Qualifications:

• 3+ Years of Insurance experience as it pertains to commercial lines.
• Experience with EPIC agency management system a plus.
• NJ Property and Casualty (P&C) Licensed.

Compensation:

• Base salary up to 90k/year depending on experience.
• Opportunity for commission when bringing in new business/rounding accounts.
