Freight Broker - Trucking Company - Base Salary to 60k/year – Nashville, TN

• Our client, a logistics company since 1928, serves customer across the Southeast and Midwest regions within the automotive, manufacturing, food and beverage and healthcare markets! They are looking to expand their team and add a Freight Broker!
• The Freight Broker will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with shippers and carriers, becoming a trusted partner in their freight transportation needs.

Responsibilities:

• Managing Transportation needs for those clients.
• Negotiate rates, contracts, and terms with carriers to ensure maximum value and efficiency.
• Tracking transportation requirements for clients
• Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
• Leverage your industry knowledge and network to identify new business opportunities and expand the company's reach.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations, applying this knowledge to enhance service quality and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Must have a degree(s) in Transportation or at least 2+ years’ experience.
• Proven track record of success, with a book of business generating consistent revenue.

Compensation: Base salary in the 50k – 60k/year range, plus commission. They offer a complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, along with 100% company-paid Basic Life Insurance, 401k, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability.
