    • Our Client is a leading supplier of high-quality steel framing, drywall, acoustical ceiling systems, and much more. As a preferred distributor of SCAFCO Steel Stud Company, a leading-edge name in the steel framing industry for over 25 years, the company is able to maintain large inventories to limit lead-time and eliminate lost productivity. Our customers have direct access to SCAFCO’s team of engineers and are able to leverage their skills to save on labor costs and improve installation efficiency.
    • We are seeking a skilled Regional Sales Manager for the California Central Valley and Reno, NV. As a Regional Sales Manager you are responsible for the continued expansion and development of sales within our Sacramento, Fresno, Stockton, Bakersfield and Reno branches. To accomplish this, you will lead, mentor, and grow a team of sales professionals throughout your region. This position has the option of working out of our Sacramento, Fresno or Stockton branch!

    Responsibilities:

    • Setting regional sales objectives and goals
    • Managing regional sales teams and developing regional sales
    • Conducting customer and sales meetings
    • Performing marketing functions
    • Analyzing sales activity reports
    • Determining region responsibilities of each sales team
    • Traveling regularly to assist and mentor sales team
    • Creating and implementing effective sales strategies
    • Developing key customer relationships and strategies within your assigned region
    • Working with the operations, production and accounting departments to efficiently maximize both present and long-term sales and gross profits
    • Working with engineers, architects and in-house personnel to help define project requirements

    Qualifications:

    • College degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience managing sales professionals
    • Strong construction industry or building materials knowledge and familiarity with drywall and steel stud products
    • Proven experience managing a team of sales professionals across multiple states
    • Previous success in business and sales development
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
    • Superior written, verbal communication and public speaking skills
    • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Ability to travel to branches within your assigned region (50% travel time)

    Compensation includes a base salary up to 120k/year as well as a competitive commission and bonus structure. First year can expect around 150k – 180k/year total compensation. The company offers great benefits, a 401K program and much more tied to the company culture and perks!
