Claims Examiner - Insurance - Base Salary to 94k/year - Dallas, TX

• Our client is a national Third Party Administrator who is looking for a Claims Examiner to join their team in a remote capacity. Their company has been in business for almost 50 years and has been named one of the Best Places to Work in the city where they're headquartered consistently since 2003
• The Claims Examiner will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and processing claims in a remote capacity to ensure top-tier quality service while actively protecting the interests of customers.
• Candidates for this position must reside in one of the following states to be considered: CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, MA, NY, NC, NJ, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, or WV.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing, analyzing, and processing moderate to severe no-fault auto liability claims as well as some Commercial Property, Inland Marine, personal injury protection (PIP) and General Liability claims. Exposures are generally moderate but some claims may entail some litigation or coverage issues.
• Negotiating claim settlements and ensuring appropriate payments
• Coordinating with various vendors such as appraisers, independent adjusting firms, contractors, PI's, etc.
• Managing PIP litigation process while being conscious of budget

Qualifications:

• Licensed in the state you live in AND in either NY, TX, or FL
• 5+ years Commercial Property Claims experience with emphasis on Commercial Auto
• Experience with PIP claims preferred but not required
• Working knowledge of tort law, civil procedure, and contract law
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to research, analyze facts, and come to conclusions

Compensation:

• Base salary up to 94k/year
