Logistics Manager – Architectural Stone Supplier – Base Salary to 70k/year – Minneapolis, MN

• Our client is an industry leading brick and stone supplier. With nearly 20 years in business, this company continues to be a top distributor for commercial companies in the MN and WI area. The team is looking for a Logistics Manager who will be responsible for managing daily trucking needs for the company. The Logistics Manager will also organize in/out-bound freight to ensure proper delivery from the manufacture to the client.
• The Logistics Manager will work hand-in-hand with the Project Manager to understand project needs and specific materials needed.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and dispatch full & partial truckloads to required destinations between MN and WI
• Track product shipment, costs, and timelines according to project specifications
• Negotiate rates with outside vendors for trucking needs
• Work closely with warehouse staff
• Assist with billing and accounts receivable as needed

Qualifications:

• 4+ years previous dispatching experience
• Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred
• Experience working with 3PL’s
• Forklift experience or license is a plus
• Familiarity with MS Office
