Insurance Sales Team Leader - Captive Agency - Base Salary to 60k/year - Asheville, NC

• Our client, a fast-growing captive agency in Asheville, NC has an immediate need for a Insurance Sales Team Leader to join their team. This agency prides itself on a customer-first mindset and a passion for excellence. These values have led their agency to being placed in the top 5% of branches in the Carolinas.
• This Insurance Sales Team Leader will be responsible for managing a team of 3-5 sales team members by providing encouragement and coaching while also prospecting and maintaining a steady stream of new business for the agency.

Responsibilities:

• Primarily focused on selling auto, homeowners, disability, and Life & Health Policies
• Prospecting and cold-calling potential new business while also capitalizing on inbound leads and referrals
• Coaching and mentoring the sales team to achieve sales goals
• Attending weekly leadership meetings and quarterly leadership development seminars
• 50 – 60 new applications per month
• 30k – 45k in new business premium per month
• 4 life applications per month

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of insurance sales experience
• Property and Casualty (P&C) Licensed
• Life and Health (L&H) Licensed

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 35k - 60k/year range depending on experience plus commission on new business.
• Benefits include 3 weeks of PTO and 401k
