Construction Project Manager – Construction Company - Base Salary to 140k/year – Huntsville, AL

• Our client, is a construction firm that works on large scale infrastructure projects across Alabama. The organization is bringing on a Construction Project Manager that will be responsible for activities on specific projects in preparation of construction management scopes and the determination of efforts of execution. Duties will be construction administration, project budgets, schedules, supply chain management and customer service.
• The position is based out of Huntsville, AL and will work on site primarily.

Responsibilities:

• Work with project Superintendent in a team setting to maintain and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Review and understand drawings and specifications to become completely familiar with the project scope of work.
• Serve as the main point of contact for the Engineer and Architect.
• Work with Pre-Construction and Field Supervision to identify and implement all contract deliverables, quality testing, and reporting requirements.
• Work with awarded Subcontractors to align on schedule, budget, changes in scope, logistics, daily planning and weekly look-ahead.
• Responsible for project startup, including obtaining permits and licenses and managing jobsite mobilization.
• Work with field management to generate job specific safety plan for the project.
• Facilitate subcontractor pre-mobilization/startup meetings.
• Issue and administer subcontracts (payments, insurance, bond, safety, etc.) and purchase orders for multiple trades.
• Assist in development, planning, and updating of overall project schedule. Attend/direct regular job scheduling meetings.
• Lead responsibility for project quality control plan implementation and compliance.
• Prioritize, review, and expedite submittals.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in construction project management is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in construction, engineering or related field is preferred
• Experience handling all aspects of construction projects including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 100k – 140k/year range
