    • Our client, who has been servicing all branches of the U.S. Military for over 40 years, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. Renowned for their adherence to reliability and environmental standards across industries, particularly in aerospace, this employee-owned company stands out for its commitment to excellence.
    • The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for creating, enhancing, and testing custom electronic products, spanning from initial conception to final production. Engaging directly with clients, the position entails understanding their needs and presenting technical proposals in response to inquiries for quotations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare detailed product or system layouts, including drawings and schematics, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
    • Utilize eCAD tools to create schematics and layout PCBs, employing precise design techniques.
    • Conduct simulations and worst-case analyses using computer-assisted engineering software to assess electronic circuit performance prior to production.
    • Utilize advanced equipment to analyze and test electronic designs, ensuring functionality and reliability.
    • Assist in coordinating the construction of prototype products or systems, facilitating the development process.
    • Participate in design reviews at appropriate intervals, involving relevant departments to ensure comprehensive assessment.
    • Perform root cause analysis for manufacturing issues or customer returns, identifying areas for improvement.
    • Contribute to the planning and execution of experimental test programs, analyzing results to inform design decisions.
    • Review and approve Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and corrective action reports, ensuring adherence to standards.
    • Assist in evaluating requests for quotations, determining feasibility and providing cost estimates as needed.
    • Undertake additional duties as assigned, supporting the overall goals and objectives of the company.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology
    • Demonstrate engineering proficiency, particularly in analog design, with a preference for experience in power supply design.
    • Exhibit strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for delivering effective presentations.
    • Showcase adept organizational abilities and a keen attention to detail.
    • Demonstrate the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, showcasing strong multitasking skills.
