ABOUT THE WATERPROOFING CONSTRUCTION MONITOR POSITION
Allana Buick & Bers is looking for a seasoned construction monitor to join our Oahu team. This individual would be responsible for:
-Observing construction activities and documenting conformance with approved construction drawings/plans, project requirements, standards, and specifications
-Reporting exceptions or deviations from approved plans, specifications and/or construction issues to project manager, construction contractor supervisor and/or other appropriate parties
-Preparing prompt and accurate daily reports summarizing daily field operations/installations, plan deviations and corrective actions
-Communicating on a regular basis with the project manager
WATERPROOFING CONSTRUCTION MONITOR REQUIREMENTS
-Experience in construction observation with a civil engineering consulting or construction management firm or previous experience as a superintendent with a waterproofing firm
-Ability to obtain and record field data and compile field reports
-Ability to interpret specifications and working drawing and convey intent to contractor
-Experience with waterproofing and/or below grade waterproofing
-High School Diploma or GED equivalent
