    Are you a customer service professional looking for a great opportunity in insurance? We're looking for someone passionate about providing excellent customer service to our clients and policyholders. As our next insurance customer service representative, you will show our policyholders the value of being one of our customers by generating insurance quotations and providing coverage advice. You'll also be in charge of giving current policyholders excellent customer service by resolving billing issues, amending policies, and making policy suggestions. The ideal candidate for this role has prior customer service experience and excellent communication skills. If this sounds like you, apply now! Responsibilities: • Respond to incoming calls concerning policy and insurance coverage concerns, as well as customer complaints and general questions • Keep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify that all questions are answered regarding customer policies • Apply appropriate changes to consumer policies based on the information provided • Handle complaints, present appropriate solutions, and alternatives within the timeframes set, and follow up to ensure that the issue has been resolved • Confirm client insurance coverage and provide evidence of insurance papers to policyholders • Establish working relationships with clients, potential clients, and companies we represent on the phone, email, and on paper • Supporting teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects • Research and resolve coverage questions • Promptly respond to client needs either on the phone or electronically • Maintain client files and process routine correspondence between our agency and the client or company… both paper records as well as our many different software programs • Cultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines of insurance through consultative selling • Assist with other office duties as they arise and are needed Qualifications: • Basic knowledge of insurance policy procedures and schedules is preferred • Display strong communication skills, active listening skills, and personal skills • Position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent • Understands how to utilize a database for processing client information and how to use Microsoft Office to create necessary documents • You must have previous customer service experience for this position • You must be fluent in Spanish, written and spoken • This is an "in-person" position, so you must live within driving distance of our office location in Fullerton, CA, and have appropriate means of transportation • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a calculator • Type quickly and accurately • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Organized, structured, punctual, and will follow the rules • Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical, and honest • Property and Casualty license preferred (required within the first 60 days of employment) • We will train and educate the successful candidate. However, having previous experience working within the insurance industry is a bonus Compensation: $18 - $23 hourly
