Amcare Pro Home Health is hiring for a full time Scheduling Coordinator role. The ideal candidate would have prior home health scheduling/intake experience, also be knowledgeable and familiar with home health EMRs e.g.: Kinnser. The ideal candidate would have have geriatric home health experience and understand Medicare Home

Health scheduling guidelines.

The candidate MUST be a self starter, problem solver and one that takes the initiative.

∙High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Education:

∙High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

∙Geriatric Home Health Scheduling: 2 years (Preferred)

∙Medical Terminology: 2 years (Preferred)

∙Medicare guidelines: 2 years (Preferred)

∙Medicare home health scheduling: 2 years (Preferred)

∙EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)

The position will require you to:

∙Staff and schedule nursing, therapy and HHA visits for home health patients.

∙Data Entry in EMR e.g.: Kinnser

∙Scheduling nursing and therapy visits, as per Medicare guidelines

∙Coordinate staffing for non-medical and medical patients

∙Follow-up with patients upon referral and after admission

∙Coordinating/contacting via telephone/fax/email

∙Participating in intake process, if needed.
