    Job Description

    Supporting AGS’ global marketing function, the Content Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining quality content that positions Allegis Global Solutions as an innovator and leader in its industry. Responsibilities include planning, writing, collaborating, and editing to create all forms of content, including print, web, interactive videos, presentations, blog posts, white papers, and email campaigns related to our global marketing strategy. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to write clear and compelling headlines that motivate action, and the ability to quickly adapt to our Managed Services Provider (MSP) solutions business line.

    To support the development of current messaging, the Content Manager will be expected to monitor market intelligence, research trends and best practices, seek thought leadership opportunities, and utilize internal resources to be effective within the business.  The successful candidate will participate in brainstorming sessions with the team and collaborate with subject matter experts, authors and internal business partners, as well as actively participate and present as needed with internal and external clients. The content Manager will also be responsible for managing content assets, strategy, and development process across the globe.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead and collaborate with marketing team members to determine the conceptual and copy direction of our brand and product marketing initiatives
    • Establish a consistent brand voice/tone throughout all digital marketing initiatives across web, mobile, email, social, video, print, and thought leadership
    • Write clear, concise copy representing the AGS brand to raise awareness, drive sales and increase engagement
    • Draft blogs, white papers, social content, email drip campaigns and related content required to fulfill our marketing strategy and goals
    • Monitor the benchmarks for measuring the impact of communications
    • Research and recommend new media outlets and thought leadership opportunities for AGS content
    • Build strong relationships with internal clients and SME’s, along with relevant industry thought leaders, media outlets and key partners
    • Develop and implement content that supports clients’ objectives
    • Submit weekly progress reports and create dashboards of content pipeline
    • Maintain knowledge of market conditions and competitive activities
    • Interact with people at all levels of the organization and develop strong relationships
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 3- 5+ years of experience working in advertising, communication or journalism
    • Bachelor’s Degree in communications, writing, marketing, advertising, PR, English, journalism or related field
    • Outstanding communication, organizational and writing skills
    • Ability to eloquently articulate and communicate AGS’ brand tone, voice and messaging
    • Ability to quickly understand our clients and markets and to articulate the value we deliver
    • Research and interviewing skills
    • Ability to write with a local and global perspective in mind 
    • Ability to make content recommendations based on business strategy and analytics
    • Experience with SEO copywriting
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on generating results and increasing engagement
    • Proven ability to multi-task, perform under pressure and manage tight deadlines
    • Ability to perform independently in addition to collaborating within a team environment
    • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
    • Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Working knowledge of global data protection and confidentiality laws
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
    • Ability to travel up to 10% of the calendar year
