Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and experienced independent contractors to join our team as Appliance Delivery/Installation professionals in Detroit, MI. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering and installing various appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and stoves, to our customers' homes or businesses. Successful candidates must have their own 26-foot box truck and be available to work on a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Safely drive to customers' locations in a timely manner, ensuring the proper handling and care of appliances during transportation.

- Load and unload appliances from the delivery vehicle with care, using appropriate equipment and techniques to prevent damage.

- Inspect and verify the condition of appliances before and after delivery, notifying the company of any issues or damages.

- Install appliances according to safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions, ensuring proper connections and functionality.

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and product demonstrations professionally.

- Maintain accurate records of delivery routes, mileage, and customer interactions for reporting purposes.

- Comply with all applicable delivery and installation policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements:

- 26ft box truck with lift gate

-Provide a two-person delivery team

- Must have personal set of tools

- Active MC & DOT number with the FMCSA (We can direct you to the appropriate parties to get these requirements in order!)

- Valid SSN/FEIN

- Current COI

- Drivers will need a valid Driver’s License with good driving record

• Appliance installation experience required

- Must be 21 years of age, 18 if non-driver

Final candidates will be required to provide a complete background check.
