Production Associates to work in our Edison and South Plainfield production facilities to perform various functions associated with the manufacturing of beverage formulation. This position consists of but is not limited to, working with others to manually unload raw materials into batches.** Production Associate s* are an essential part of***Allen Flavors' *success! They perform general warehouse duties and safely move material within the facility using little to no manufacturing equipment.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate basic manufacturing equipment
- Introduction to batching
- Learning recognition of hazardous materials
- Knowledge raw material lot tracking and location
- Inspect finished products in accordance to standards of quality, weight specifications and presentation
- Maintain and continually clean and keep department organized
- May perform labor tasks or general cleaning tasks as directed by your manager/supervisor.
- Understand and implement Company Certified programs such as HACCP, NSF, SQF, Food Defense and Food Safety programs as required
- Other duties assigned by Management
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
Skills:
- Understanding of manufacturing regulations regarding safety, quality and GMP’s
- Good attendance record
- Have the physical capacity to perform the job
