ROLE:   Back End Java Developer

LOCATION:   Remote

Role will be responsible for designing and developing new features and functionality producing clean, efficient code based on specification and within the guidelines of the website's architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability.  Solid Data structure and algorithm knowledge.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Works with colleagues to build, develop, and deploy custom website functionality as needed. Works closely with the developer team to ensure that projects are delivered correctly and on time.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Review and analyze requirements and technical documents, where available, by implementing and conducting formal requirements walkthroughs/inspections. Responsible for conditioning accounts for test region. Develop and execute test plans, test cases and scripts for functional testing.

• Experienced coder with 8+ years of back-end batch Java development in a high-transaction based environment
• In-depth experience with Node.js/Java Script 
• In-depth experience with Data Structures & Algorithms
• In-depth Unit and Integration testing experience
• Strong PL/SQL experience is a MUST
• Analysis expertise to unwind and understand complex batch processes.
• API Integration expertise
• Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 

• Expertise in Back-end Batch Java required
• Extensive Node.js/Java Script experience required
• Very Strong Relational Database PL/SQL experience Required
• Knowledge of Angular is a nice to have
• Jira for Unit testing and Defect Tracking
